Symptoms of Jock Itch
Jock itch is a sensitive condition in more ways than one, affecting the intimate area around the groin, buttocks and inner thighs and resulting in a potentially embarrassing itch.
Early treatment is recommended as jock itch is contagious and if left untreated can spread to other parts of the body.
Common symptoms of jock itch:
- A red rash with raised edges develops - usually on the groin, surrounding skin folds, inner thighs or buttocks.
- An extremely irritating and persistent itch in the groin area.
- Burning sensation around the affected area in some cases
